Memoir about the first 18 years of Sally McRae's life. It's humbling to read about the unconditional love of her mother while reading about the abuse from her father.
Overall, the book is uplifting and has positive messages, and it doesn't go into tons of detail about the abuse but it will move you to tears.
Absolutely wonderful to read. Couldn't put it down.
