Dante Blake

I liked this movie well enough, but it was very frustrating to watch. Like a lot of horror movies, it’s prime example of idiot plot - the story would be resolved immediately if anyone involved was not a moron. I just couldn’t find it particularly scary or even feel too bad for the victims because at some point it just became natural selection. (Minor spoiler) They had Mikey-boy dead to rights incapacitated like 4 different times and they just decided to stop attacking him and chat. Double tap him? 12 gauge to the face? Throw him in a wood chipper or something? It was still fun to watch, and I liked a lot of the elements of it. The design of Michael’s mask was great, and the way he moves throughout the movie is just so intimidating. The other characters were just so utterly incompetent I almost found myself rooting for Michael.
