This is a wonderful heart warming movie with an atypical story, and frankly, should become a Christmas “go-to” like Elf or The Holiday have become. I admit, the first part of the story made me think it wasn’t so special, but watch it through without cynicism and you will love it, and want to watch it many times over. There’s a lot in the details and is one of those movies that you go “oh wow - that was clever.” Lastly, the message is a great one. An example of love and giving put into action, which just oozes the meaning of Christmas. It’s not just sappy romance. To the negative reviewers, I say - Bah Humbug to you Scrooges.
