As someone who’s been a fan of marvel since the beginning of the first Iron Man movie when I was little , I’m happily to say that this show was a lot of fun to watch. I’m so glad RiRi Williams a.k.a. IronHeart is finally getting the love she deserve because the past few years in the comic book fandom, there has been an extreme amount of toxicity and hate for the character but most of the reason is due to racism (but they won’t fully admit it and try to hide it with their little codewords they use such as “Woke”, “DEI”, and “CRT”) and many come up with dumb reasons to say that she doesn’t deserve the iron mantle. When I first saw her in Black Panther Wakanda forever, I was thrilled on how they brought her into the MCU but her introduction was kind of a bit sloppy and I feel like they just brought her there just to bring her there for no reason in that movie, but now in her own TV show, I can say that her character is pretty cool, humble, dedicated, ambitious, and committed like Tony Stark (except for the billions of dollars he have.) this show made my day and will continue on making me happy going forward, and that we have another iron person to take up the mantle and fill in the shoes of Tony Stark and I can’t wait to see her going forward in the MCU. What I love about this show is that RiRi Williams had to overcome the struggle and loss of her stepdad, and her best friend throughout the show, and, seeing her at her lowest, was a punch in the gut and felt relatable and towards the end of episode five her friends and family helped her fight through her pain from what she endured and help her build her suit. If I had to rate the show, I would give it a solid 7.9 out of 10 it’s fairly decent and fun on its own for what it is a personal and grounded story was the right way to go in this miniseries. Everyone in this cast is phenomenal especially Dominique Thorne, Anthony Ramos, and Lyric Ross. If you’re curious about the show, don’t let no one stop you from enjoying what you love just because they’re bitter and mad because they don’t see want to see a black lead role in anything, life is way too short to stay mad all day at a fictional character. GO IRONHEART GO!!!! 💪🏽🦾✊🏽
