I had no idea what I was getting into, but the movie kept getting worse and worse as it went on lmao. Sure the visuals were amazing, I loved all the magical things involved.
However, the fact that they’re hiding what the company actually does from the main character dragged on for so long that it felt super forced. All characters are thrown into the screen left and right, there’s no actual emotional attachment that the audience can form with any of them. I was so turned off when the main character was put into a romantic bonding with the female protagonist, twilight has a better romance than these two. Female protagonist (I forgot her name) has no interesting qualities whatsoever other than being averagely good looking and she’s pretty cold for no reason, she even argued with main character at a pub- what made the directors think “ah yes they’re meant to be”??
I didn’t bother finishing the film lol. Also, why does Hollywood keep casting the same man to be a villain? The very moment I saw him I was like “yep he’s gonna be evil later on I bet”, and I was right.
