i did enjoy this movie as i enjoy most of tom hanks’ films, it explored the journey of a teenage boy experiencing what life was like as an adult and i think tom hanks played that role perfectly. however, linking to the relationship between him and susan, i would’ve preferred the movie a lot more if there wasn’t any romance. i know it portrayed how a teenage boy was finding out what it was like being in a relationship as an adult but i just thought it ruined the movie slightly. wouldn’t the aspect of it be a whole lot different if she knew he was a 13 year old?? anyway, enjoyed the movie but the romance was unnecessary.
