I just started reading 'Born A Crime' this month and honestly Trevor penned down a moving life story, I could see myself in the book. Who else, never saw Sundays as Church days when growing and the fact that our mothers were and are still religious. Another thing to reckon about this book is Apartheid was brutal, I just can't imagine being the child of a mixed race in those days and having to deal with restricted movements and not being proud of parents simply because of unjust system. Aarrgh...long gone those days!
