To Lee and Belinda on Chateaux DIY - just to say my father was polish as well, delighted you made bigos, I have a polish cook book so will look for it in there or online. I was sent to a polish summer school in 1965 in Poland and met so many lovely boys and girls from all over England, Scotland like a few of us and even Scandinavia. I lost touch when we all started to find partners and got married. Love the whole experience of the programme, I've had the courage to use a hammer and drill like never before. I should like to contact any of those who work on the items as I have a Davenport desk which is slowly falling apart, I can sell it but the buyer who would restore it wouldcthen auction it and get the extra cash, if what you do on the programme could help me it would be much appreciated and a very fair way of splitting any profit made on thecrestored desk that really needs a new home, not mine.
