I watched Meteor Garden 2018. Watching from the USA with English subtitles. I am 64 year old, wife mom, and grand mother. I agree with the younger ladies, Darren Chen is adorable. When the series was over,I was left wanting to see more. Netflix “Similar shows” section listed Boys Over Flowers (2008). During the first episode I decided Kim Hyun Jung would not replace Darren Chen for me. After approximately 5 episodes I was being swayed. Half way through the series, I couldn’t clearly remember what Darren Chen looked like. Once again, I had fallen in love with this character and both young actors. Like many others, I stayed up into the wee hours binge watching these two shows. The actor/actresses on both series were engaging and endearing. Now I am starting Meteor Garden 2018 for the second time around. I am sure Darren Chen will steal my heart again.
