Steve McQueen nails it again. Glimpses of humanity in the face of war; the inherent goodness of ordinary working class people in adversity; the fact that London was multi-racial during the war, not just in its aftermath; LOVE and family; all within the narrative of a 9yr-old's courage during his evacuation adventure. Absolutely loved it.
