Mid-Western Game Hunter

Honestly, this game was a lot more than I expected. With realistic gear, action, fish, and fishing spots, and lakes/rivers you truly do feel like you are a professional bass fisherman climbing through the ranks in career mode. I will say however, there are some flaws with the game, mostly on the cosmetics side of things. I found when I tried to put a hat on my practice and tournament character, that whenever I would switch between the two, the hat would be automatically taken off. This means I could not wear a hat with a custom character in both a tournament and practice/venues. The next flaw is in the mastery. When I complete a challenge, I found that it takes around 3-5 hours until the challenge registers as complete. Also, it does the same after unlocking cosmetics, it is another 3-5 hours. But, for me that is OK. When I take a break from the game, I can come back to completed missions and unlocked cosmetics. If there was a half star, this would be a 4 1/2 star review from me. This is because of the current flaws. Overall, I would highly encouraging picking up the game if you are an outdoorsman/fisherman such as myself. EDIT: The character cosmetics issue has been resolved as much as I know. I believe the mastery issue has been resolved as well but that I can not be certain on. This game just keeps getting better and better. As long as the devs keep the game clean and fun, it will last for a long long time.
