As bad as the Disney movies 789 were, the television series seems much more on the mark, especially since both the Mandalorian and Boba Fett are in the time period just after Return Of The Jedi ended. As far as I am concerned, the less they try to tie these programs into episode 789, the better it will be for everyone. Those movies should be considered a bad dream and just forgotten. But Boba Fett looks very good so far, with plenty of tiny details from both the first 6 movies and the gaming and animated worlds slipped in as easter eggs.

I know this is supposed to be in the Z Nation universe, but this series is actually far better. There is a lot of suspense and scary parts, with very serious characters and none of the silly stuff in Z Nation. Just good old scary zombies that are fast changing and really nasty. No time for comedy, just trying to survive in the first days of the apocalypse.
