I found this book to have some brutal truths in instances that seemed to chime with some of my own personal mishaps. It is not for everyone and the language is sure to offend or put some off completely from reading.
I think the biggest takeaway For myself is Manson’s point of view that we can be self aware and have agency over much of our decisions we have control over. This book is not a ‘feel good’ book which focuses on blind positivity, but rather the optimism that comes with choosing which struggles we would rather - aka which f@cks we decide to give.
