Do not play this heaping pile of flaming garbage. I wanted to finish the trilogy, I've played Ninja gaiden 1 and 2, every version. I love them too pieces. A perfect balance between exploration, hardcore combat and skill based reaction time. Sure they were a bit rough, but they had heart, and just enough supernatural to warrant a dragon blooded ninja in modern times... This game is not that. It's a call of duty game if they gave your character a sword... The combat isn't fun or fluid, it's agonizing and repetitive... The weapons aren't fun, you get a new weapon and you roll your eyes as it feels the same as everything else. Nothing dies, there's no skill involved, just mash the buttons and pray that you don't get blindsided by the mass armies of dudes everywhere. If boring environments, shitty gameplay, unfair and uncreative enemies, mindless combat and the worst story imaginable, play this game. This is not a game... This is a walking simulator that eats your time and patience by throwing hundreds of enemies at you with no shame. This is not ninja gaiden... It isn't even the dying breath of ninja gaiden, and it really fucking pisses me off that those words are slapped onto this horrendous travesty of the most brutal waste of your time. Fuck this game, and I really hope that this soulless piece of shit gets taken off the market. Unlubed sodomy would be a less painful experience... Don't fucking play it!
