The acting in this miniseries is excellent, and I think the writers have done a very good job of following closely to the original book. This is a difficult story to read about, and it is very difficult to watch. You feel the pain of both sets of parents, and you especially feel for Jacob. He is obviously considered by many of his peers as a 'misfit', and he knows this. Heart rending material!
