David Squires

I like the book this show is based on. Its an amazing world full of amazing characters caught up in stories both incredible and terrible. The show is something completely different, while the world is beautiful the people are bland, boring and not memorable. The pacing is terrible, its slow and never seems to get going. The highlight so far is Durin and his wife. They are funny and great characters. Amazon seem to have spent a fortune to make a mediocre show. I think its something they are good at, they have done the same with the wheel of time. They seem to excel at taking source material that is amazing and fun to read and turning it into something much less than it should be. The first seasons of got are so much better and should be an example how to make characters stand out and their stories shock and awe you. Shame on you Amazon.
