Usually I start a book and put aside after reading some pages knowing what will happen next, but about this one, I must confess not only I couldn't put it down but it kept me wondering all the time. Description of emotions and complications of emotions was so perfect that one could feel experiencing them and they kind of blurred my vision when it came to reasoning because feelings always lead you places you couldn't imagine you were capable of getting there. Reading this book made me feel strength and weakness at the same time; mixture of emotions, confusions, it was then that I stopped being judgmental or find where the story should be going, instead I simply kept reading and hoping for the best ending (which of course I got it at the end).
And of course I noticed the point that author tried to make and I'm thankful that she did sometimes the lessons a story carries seem so cliché but I couldn't think of any better way of presenting what she tend to show.
Although I appreciate commitments to anybody or anything, first commitment that you should make is to yourself and your family. Ego destroys everything, the raising of children and their mental well being, etc. It is very important for everybody to put as much distance as they can between them and toxic environments and people no matter how they feel committed to them.
