Without fail, this TV show is the most well-rounded All-American News Program every week, for the young and old alike. Trey Gowdy, is an outstanding American Citizen, who openly shares his experiences from growing up in rural SC, to his days as a prosecutor, and a former Republican US Senator. He is a straight shooter, who is well-educated professional, as well as a devoted husband and father who often shares his experiences on topics common to most of us. He is very thoughtful, fair, and deliberate when delivering his opening monologue (without cussing or degrading any politician regardless of political affiliation) which covers his analysis of US and World News. His comments are based on facts, and they are presented to the viewers. He always has guests who are the best representatives for the topic being discussed, in that they are very knowledgeable and experienced, and they are of the best character. For instance, today’s program was the one-year anniversary for Trey Gowdy’s show and his guests, all soft spoken (great for the entire family) were: Dana Perino, former press secretary for President George W. Bush and currently News Commentator on Fox America News and Co-host on Fox The Five. She spoke on being gracious and respectful and gave examples of the good it does in everyday life for yourself as well as for others around you. The second guest was Senator Tim Scott from SC. He spoke on his poor beginnings and of the importance of education for everyone, to bring them out of poverty and give them the opportunity to reap the benefits of their work ethic. A third guest was John Ratcliffe, former Director of Intelligence, who spoke on what has worked in the past regarding economics, intelligence, and safety in our Country, and what changes need to be made so the US remains the only Super Power in the World. Another of Trey Gowdy’s attributes is that he is an excellent listener and he emphasizes his gratitude to his guests for informing and sharing their knowledge with all of us. He respects his guests by allowing them to speak, not so with some of the weekly, late evening Fox News shows. I DVR all of Trey Gowdy’s Programs and save them for reruns weeks later. Another one of the newer Fox News Programs is Jesse Waters Primetime News at 7 pm EST, weekdays. I recommend it as a good daily evening news program, with a bit of a Republican spin. Jesse is experienced, knowledgeable, and he gives his guests an opportunity to share their expertise.
