In the beginning of DWTS, only the judges voted; and did so based on dance skills and improvements throughout the season. Now, it's far more heavily weighted by the public's popular votes, actual dancing and improvements be damned. Now, it's gotten too far away from being a good show worth the season-long investment of watching because nothing matters but the popularity of the celebrities with the viewers who actually vote. Bottom line: NOT WORTH WATCHING BECAUSE DANCING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHO WINS. Go back to the original format or give up doing it. I'm giving up watching unless it comes back in the original format.
