I have watched Pit Bulls and Paroles for several years. Occasionally when they are trying to rescue a dog they lose the dog by it running out into traffic or other wise getting killed before they can rescue it. What I have long wondered about is why they do not use a stun gun to tranquilize the animal if other methods have failed. On all the other animal shows when a wild animal needs to be caught and that is the most expedient method, they tranquilize the animal. This seems much more humane than letting the dog run into traffic or otherwise get killed.
