I came into theaters knowing that there was gonna be recap episodes and the introduction episode to the new season, so I didn't mind the two hours. A lot of people complained, but I genuinely enjoyed watching the recap episodes of last season on the big screen, though I didn't like having to wait through the opening and end credits. The first episode of the new season was truly great, with an captivating and well-done intro to the upper moons and this alone sold the episode for me. The rest of the episode was alright with good fun. Content aside however, watching this in IMAX siginificantly improved the experience and I highly recommend to those who are planning to watch this to spend a little extra cash. You would come out of the theater appreciating the breath-taking soundtrack and phenomenal audio. Kudos to Ufotable for that.
