I have a friend on the launch team for this book, and she received a DM from Bethany saying, "Thanks for buying our book, would you please leave a 5 star review, it only takes 60 seconds!" My friend replied that she would review the book "once I have read it, and I will leave an honest review."
Very soon, she found herself removed from the launch team. Apparently Gurrrl Defined has a rule about "only accepting true supporters of GD" and that obviously means doing whatever they say to do, even if it is morally questionable.
