Such a visually beautiful series with a great story and wonderful characters. I was skeptical about anyone trying to "re-do" the Dark Crystal but I think Jim Henson would have been seriously proud. I'm so glad they stuck with predominantly puppetry instead of going full CG, and the CG that they did use worked wonderfully to enhance the visuals. Yes, puppets can't emote like humans can or even like CG characters can, and in the first few episodes that did make it difficult for me to feel some of the characters emotions, but by the half way point I was fully invested and attached to several favorites and yes, I even cried a bit... over a puppet. Loved it and please please Netflix can we have some more?
