Where to start. Left at the interval and it was hard work getting there. Only the respect for my fellow theatregoers who I didn't want to make stand up, got me there. Sounds like we weren't the only ones after reading reviews here. Painfully unfunny but people were laughing, why ? I don't know. I can only imagine its for an older crowd. Compared to modern quick witted televised comedy it had absolutely nothing with jokes so obvious and telegraphed it was a surprise when the line didn't end with a zinger and it really was as obvious and crass as you thought it was going to be. Trump, vaccines, annoying teenagers, all the obvious stuff. And although the theatre has history it just isn't suitable for todays bigger people, cramped seating, poor toilets, a relief to get out really.
