I really enjoyed this movie! It really paints a very clear picture of the plight and humanity of people many prefer to ignore or think of as less than simply because they were not born into a country. I sort of wish more had happened, but I think that's kind of the point of the movie. Refugees, hoping for a better life, are stranded in these countries where they have to live but cannot truly settle in or call it their own, just always waiting for something positive to happen and hoping for the possibility that their plea for asylum will be approved. They are divorced from their culture, missing friends and family, and all the while they are regarded with suspicion as if they are criminals simply by being from the country they're from (or sometimes even just LOOKING like a certain race or EVEN what that person thinks that race looks like). It's a pretty quiet movie, lots of silence, gorgeous cinematography, but also very funny at times. Highly recommend if you are willing to sit and experience something quietly meaningful instead of the typical easy movie laughs and explosions.
