Dude Movie – FULL OF NONSENSE
A GenZ film that pretends to be progressive but clings to outdated tropes like “women cry, tears are their weapon.” The hero spends the entire film doing exactly what the script claims to condemn—using vulgar double-meaning dialogues, disrespecting women, and physically violating boundaries.
The film’s take on honor killing feels forced, and its core message seems to glorify violence against women. The hero’s definition of “cringe” is laughable: apparently, real emotions are cringe-worthy—like marrying your girlfriend and letting her live with her lover, while playing the martyr.
When the heroine questions this twisted logic, she’s silenced with “Don’t talk feminism.” That’s the classic tactic of those who don’t have answers—shut down the woman instead.
This is the real cringe: nine out of ten men in the film obsess over humiliating women who reject them. The tenth man doesn’t do this, but we’re not asking for martyrs either.
The recurring theme? A woman faces trouble, and a man rushes to save her. Or she waits for him to arrive. That’s the only concept they seem to know.
The hero is a beaten-down, pathetic figure. But heroines? Always fair-skinned, perfect-bodied, and waiting to be “damaged” by the hero.
Is this your idea of modern storytelling? Try watching at least four Malayalam films and copy them if you must. Just stop this nonsense.
