Loved it! Massive cast and beautifully filmed with all the richness of a classic British slant on human nature and Edwardian morality.
Tied inextricably to the reasons that drove the Women’s Suffrage movement - it’s hard to watch without imagining just what sort of life 50% of the population had to put up with at the hands of the other 50%.
It’s a film you can watch over and over again and always find something new.
