A promising attempt at world building with potentially interesting characters. This leans heavily on overused tropes and completely falls shorts of any real originality.
The world building is decent and improves slowly as the story progresses. With hints of lore and legend it is really trying to flesh out a world. But the lack of depth put into the society keeps it flat at a little stagnant.
The characters have potential, but we get so stuck in the internal ( and horribly annoying) inner turmoil ofnour heroine that we never really meet the other characters as anything other than an onject to onteract with.
I had hopes that this would match the hype, but it turned into little more than lit-porn for indecisive teenage girls who probably shouldn't be reading the kind of graphic descriptions used in the sex scenes.
