Don't bother reading the Vanity Fair review. They lost me within the first few paragraphs when they brought up Paramount and politics. What do politics have to do with Dexter's Resurrection? As soon as I read that I found the review to be biased and without merit. I won't be reading their reviews anymore. That being said, so far, Dexter's Resurrection is just as good as the first one . They went a totally different direction so that it's not cliche. The writers are doing an fantastic job. I can't wait for the 4th episode. I feel like I'm watching it for the first time all over again. I hope this goes on for multiple seasons. My family and I can't get enough of it. Look at Rotton Tomatoes, Google reviews, and reviews made by actual everyday people who watch the show. It's above par. Love it! Love it! Love it!

How did they get such great actors to make such a horrible movie?

I think maybe people weren't expecting a musical. However, if you're expecting a musical you won't be disappointed. I actually really liked it. Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga look great! It expresses beautifully how the joker lives inside his head. He sees the world as a movie and a musical, which were popular during that time period, and how those delusions manifest in his mind and in his real life. I think had the ending gone in a different direction after the explosion there could have been an actual part 3. A part 3 that takes him into a new direction as he grows into the iconic joker. Though the ending did pay homage Heath ledger's joker.

Good idea. Great until the dance/fight/ice skating scenes....then, just dumb. I'm glad I streamed it and didn't go to the movies. Disappointed, because lots of great actors.

I watched her sitcom. I like her. I think she is funny and brave. I watched a few talk-shows at the start to support her, but I could never really get into it. I basically just watch YouTube videos of her scaring people and her employee walking through haunted houses. Hilarious!!! My rating has nothing to do with negative gossip, because I don't personally know her, or know if it's true. I just could never watch an entire show.

Worth watching. I'm not a big fan of any actor, probably unfairly buying into the stereotypes that most are probably out-of-touch, over-the-top, megalomaniacs. So, with nothing else to watch I watched Val and I'm glad I did . It humanized Mr. Kilmer, peelng away the layers to find a son, brother, father, husband, spiritual sentient, surviver, and surprisingly a poet. After watching his biography I searched "Val Kilmer Poetry". Look it up, they are worth reading. I think while people fixate on his acting, they do themselves a disservice by not seeing the poet. One of my favorite parts is how he masterfully verbalizes the paraphraseing of Yeats in regards to poetry using a tree metaphor. Listen to that part of the biography to find insight into the poet that I hope the public experiences more of.

It's not as bad as Cats, but it's pretty bad. I'll give it a chance and watch episode 2 to see if it gets better. As for now, not enjoying the dialogue or writing, however the concept has merit. Maybe, it will get better.

8 episodes, by the fourth I started to fast-forward. A ridiculous soap opera with nudity, sex, ECT... I don't mind nudity and sex. The actors are beautiful and talented, but the show is not worth watching.

Pleasantly surprised. I love this show. I hope there are more seasons.
