I was hopeful that this series would at least try to represent the Asimov books. I was instantly disappointed and continued to be as the episodes went by. My wife, who i have watched with hasnever read the books, has enjoyed the series. This whole thing just feels "off" from beginning to finish if you are a big fan of the books themselves. I wont go into the details due to being huge spoilers of either the show or books. Lets just say this is not the Foundation series that i read and loved. I have tried to watch it as a very loosely based series at this point to try to find some enjoyement. I tend to find myself more annoyed the satisfied. So it goes
