wait i just realized that when she says "I hate lilac. It's got no shape." she's reffering to herself in a way that is like -
she's rich but not beautiful, just like SHE thinks(maybe she does think idk) that lilacs are pretty but don't have a great shape.
Because a person can have the most wanted features of all time but when put together , it just doesn't suit them.
