The good part of this bood is the importance of praying for the departed. I will pray most earnestly for priests, bishops and other religious. I listened to this book and find the latin an unnecessary interruption of the flow. The critical question, left unanswered is how a disembodied spirit can experience pain or joy. I don't know when this book was written. It reflects a pre 1960 spirituality. It dismisses the Church's acceptance of cremation as a financial necessity. The journey through purgatory and heaven remind me of Dante's Comedia done in prose.
