Masterpiece! A deep politically-oriented movie that never fails to entertain and educate. I have watched the movie many times since its release in 2006, and most recently in 2023.
The highly sensitive issue of "blood diamonds" from Africa and the associative Western guilt, may be the reason why the movie didn’t win numerous awards across various categories. Excellent acting and cinematography. A class of its own!
