I genuinely feel SICK with after watching that. 10/10 no notes. Haven't seen a horror as perfectly executed since Hereditary, even cross genre that was an impeccable film.

This feels like it's written for 3rd graders. I've lost a few brain cells. Sloppy, repetitive plot. Character's are grating and infuriatingly self-centred. I feel no emotional ties to them whatsoever. Anyone, at any point, could die, and I would shrug. The writer's RELENTLESS need to hypersexualise the gay character's dialogue needs to looked into, cause wtf are grown-a** adults writing about a child in that manner? Actually creepy. I truly feel bad that all that young actor's on screen time revolved around sexual innuendos (even their death). It's giving homophobia. Also why are we seeing a 'teenager' naked, spread eagle? Everyone is clothed the whole move and bang.. Gah. Creepy vibes all round (and not in the ghost way). America is weird.

These negative comments are insane to read and it proves media literacy is dead. Totally okay to have differing opinions but it's like you're not even capable of understanding basic film fundamentals (or maybe American)? Half of these comments don't even sound like the same movie? If a film needs to spell out simple concepts to you like a kindergarten teacher then maybe just stick to marvel flicks or Peppa pig? This film was a character study on the protagonist, hence why it's called 'VESPER'. The world is simply a vehicle for that exploration. You're not to know every single detail on the world, what that tree is named, what that character's background is, how the dad goes to the toilet (? lol at that comment). We're following the main character's evolution, what choices they make, how they love, how they care for the world and others— and the ending is the perfect summary of that? Vesper herself is an act of selflessness. What are you all on aboutttttttt.
