These negative comments are insane to read and it proves media literacy is dead. Totally okay to have differing opinions but it's like you're not even capable of understanding basic film fundamentals (or maybe American)? Half of these comments don't even sound like the same movie? If a film needs to spell out simple concepts to you like a kindergarten teacher then maybe just stick to marvel flicks or Peppa pig?
This film was a character study on the protagonist, hence why it's called 'VESPER'. The world is simply a vehicle for that exploration. You're not to know every single detail on the world, what that tree is named, what that character's background is, how the dad goes to the toilet (? lol at that comment).
We're following the main character's evolution, what choices they make, how they love, how they care for the world and others— and the ending is the perfect summary of that? Vesper herself is an act of selflessness.
What are you all on aboutttttttt.
