Hillary Lampshire

I love how much they budgeted for costumes and hair and make up. Exquisite execution. I gave 4 stars because I feel that each episode has story lines that get you excited with wonder and curiosity but then the story line dies at the end of the episode never carrying on into the next episode. Such as the last episdode of season 1 and the first episode of season 2. I'm not sure if the budget couldn't accomodate carrying on the story lines, but I feel this series could have run much longer had they continued with much of the drama that unfolds. With that being said this series makes me appreciate history and the importance war played in the aquistion of land and changing border lines throughout the 19th century.
