Waste of time. Only play if you have no life, no responsibilities, and no aspirations of being a productive member of society. This game is a basically a full time job that compares to slave labor. The amount of time that goes into building a base, learning blueprints, crafting items, and other basic items is ridiculous. You can stay up for 3 days straight farming for materials to build a base, craft weapons, etc.. And you might have a great time while you're awake. But the second you go to sleep IRL, you will lose everything. If you successfully snowball, your neighbors will offline you. If you make an enemy team mad, they just wait till you get off the server then they raid you. All of that progress gone overnight. Back to hitting trees with a rock. You need a full team rotating at different hours to make sure nobody offline raids your base. It ruins your sleep schedule, it ruins your social life, and in the end you still end up getting offlined anyways. In the one in a million chance that someone attempts to online raid you, you will have a blast. The feeling of euphoria after successfully defending a raid is unmatchable in any other video game I've played. Those instances are very very rare though and you need to put in thousands of hours to even be able to PVP successfully. This doesnt even begin to address the games core problems and other issues like cheaters, use of scripts, etc. Don't waste your time. If you want to play an FPS shooter, go play Valorant, CSGO, or R6. If you want to play a BR, go play Apex Legends or Fortnite. If you want to play a survival game, go play Tarkov or Sons of the Forest.
