I don't often like book adaptations because they loose special scenes from the book. However this movie did it well. Fans of both can understand that scenes needed to be cut while also enjoying the added screentime for other characters. I enjoyed the movie thoroughly and will definitely end up watching it over and over. It was lovely to see one of my favourite books come to life in a new light. Good job to everyone involved. I think a lot more films need the books authors involved in the script writing process. Overall a stunning film that is really enjoyable. I'm already wishing I could watch it again for the first time.
