I am somewhat upset about the first half of this movie. This is a very triggering movie for any women/victim but the fact they showed rape multiple times is upsetting. I feel as though it was not necessary to be so visual and traumatizing. I understand they are trying to represent the event from different perspectives but I would have just been happy with the women’s perspective or just cut half of the men’s point of views. It’s a very hard movie to watch. I also would have rather a woman direct and edit this movie because then I would feel more comfortable with representations of such horrific events.
