I keep reading but don’t really know why. . .I don’t “trust” the narrator! The only clearly revealing statements re how silly it is that women participate in the stock market don’t go anyplace. Much like an ordinary slow day, I want to finish but will be glad when it’s over.

A fabulous book. It feels like real life and is largely factual (well researched) but delivers well on the inner lives of its main characters.

I think it’s pretty bad that the author used a horrific true crime , and added her own horrible fictional touches to it to make money. What is the redeeming to value? It’s like having pornography paraded in front of you under the guise of “worthwhile compelling reading.”

Nothing but a run on sentence; too depressing. Bevel prize worthy?

I loved this book. It deals with psychological issues all families face and few talk about. It reads compulsively so if you have to take a break you look forward to returning to see what will happen.

I thought this book would never end. Was it news to anyone that life is complicated and painful? Could anyone understand what “the Condition” was from the explanation? Was there a point I didn’t understand because I was bored and just wanting it to be over?

This was my aunt’s favorite book. She was the world’s coolest woman! This story is the absolute best in terms of theology and humanity. I’ve had a lifelong interest in theology and this book answers as many questions for any individual, no matter what his/her beliefs, that I’ve ever read.
