It's just bad and boring. After watching To All the Boys 2 this just feels like a very bad remake of it. It's the basic same plot line but to all the boys actually seemed real. Why? Here's a few things : 1) Elle get's into 2 very good school, which are Harvard and Berkley. Firstly she does no special activities or awards or anything in her school other than the kissing booth. And her essay was the most vague things ever, which basically said " I don't know and I don't care, I'm just here to have fun" which don't get me wrong is great but if Harvard takes you in for that essay idek. Lara doesn't get into the dream college as her boyfriend and she is shown volunteering and other activities and is shown as an actual smart student. 2) She slams door and walks out on Noah over a earring. Have you heard of communication darling? Of course not, then ASSUMING he cheated on her she walks out and cheats on him WHILE they are still dating. Also the kiss and realise was EXACTLY COPIED FROM TO ALL THE BOYS 2 LIKE IT'S the SAME from frame to frame. Honestly the only realistic character in this was Lee's girlfriend even if it's exaggerated a bit it's better than a lot of the others. In conclusion just watch To All the Boys, it is a bit unrealistic as well but it's a lot less cringy and a lot more fun to watch
