If your a long time fan of the gams and expect the movie to follow the existing lore, don't waste your time. The five nights at Freddy's movie seems to take place in some sort of alternate timeline where nothing lines up with what we know aside from their being 5 missing children. William Afton, despite technically being the big bad for the end of the movie is quickly brushed aside and dealt with almost as abruptly as he is introduced. The biggest question of the entire movie, the whole point of our main characters motivation is left unanswered at the end of the film. If your just a casual fan of the games you'll probably like this film. But as a dedicated lore player I was left quite disappointed with this movie.
