How do you screw up a Jurassic Park?! All you need to do is see this show and you’ll know how. I mean it’s literally some of the best source material ever! I have liked, if not loved, all the Jurassic Park movies. They have all had unbelievable, implausible, almost impossible, moments! But through all of those, I’ve never felt like the characters were truly stupid. I could list a few things, but here are a couple. A cure were trillions is left in the hands of a single company executive, with literally no staff. Going in they get wrecked on a big boat, because swimming dinosaurs! But going out they’re saved by a little boat, so small they clearly won’t have the range to reach land. No radio, so I guess they die from exposure or get eaten? The smuggler, who literally smuggle firearms has no firearms for an expedition where they clearly had to get out on an island infested with dinosaurs! The “SPEC OPS” characters, huge eye roll, can’t or aren’t smart enough to move through a jungle quietly! Not a bad story, literally a stupid story. I could go on and on. But the thing I think I don’t like about this Jurassic Park the most is that there’s no big dinosaur fight at the end. Personally, I hope the soft reboot fails. I’d hate to see more Jurassic Park like this one.
