Infidelity fingernails. This movie is a TOTAL betrayal of the term love and a complete waste of time, talent and attention. I couldn’t believe that the movie is clearly attempting to make ‘love’ out to be some kind of mystical entity that overwhelms you forgoing anything else in life - that’s not love it’s psychotic obsession. The writing is so inconsistent and immature that the main character at one point litterally says “love needs to be worked on everyday” but proceeds to cheat on her long term partner with a man she hardly knows and then self harm in his apartment on the same night while the musical underscore is trying to convince the audience this is ‘romance’ and ‘true love’ and we should be rooting for these awful people. Whoever wrote this movie has a twisted sense of love and is clearly damaged. It encourages me that so many left 1 star reviews and society does not believe in this sick Hollywood love ideation nonsense. Steer clear of this film unless you think infidelity is morally ok.
