I watched this 3 times !!! One time in IMAX as well- highly recommended if you want to watch this movie !!!!!!!! i was pretty much mind blown away, I didnt have MUCH high expectations at first- I watched the first one years ago and I thought it was decent, nothing much that stuck to me. But the moment the opening scene started playing with that beautiful top animation, wow I was hooked away and knew this movie would exceed all expectations. First, the graphics is BEAUTIFUL- i think it compares really well to disney or pixar but however the fight scenes are some of the most amazing ones to this date. You don't see this type of action in disney. The story definitely improved, maybe its nothing too special nothing too top but its pretty good! Comedy was also funny! Especially to younger children. I also want to add that i think the first half was pretty good, decent, cute and funny. It had jokes, all the old characters were there- I didn't quite understand yet on why everyone called it a masterpiece until the SECOND half. Wow- I was blown away. I could immediately understand why- from this moment this movie went to a pretty much a 10. Its so emotional as well, with character development, the whole package to an animated film. I also think every age can watch this, but the maturity of this film really skyrocketed compared to the first- even cried a bit at one certain scene. Anyway, i think you should defs watch this! It's worth it, and I still think about it to this day. Im so excited for nezha 3!! I'm so happy china is getting recognition, congrats to becoming the highest animated film! I think it defs deserved it :)
