Very suspenseful and honestly uncomfortable, but purposefully uncomfortable.
I think it's a good movie to spread awareness on child on child sa. It shows how it can affect both children involved in that horrible situation later in life. A lot of people assume that because theres little to no malicious intent that people aren't as effected by it.
It's a conversation that isn't wanted, but is needed.
It also spreads awareness and shows signs to look for in FDSA. No father should be okay with putting their child in that situation, for revenge. Thats twisted and vile.
This movies shows how many sides to trauma and how children can be effected differently, and how they can also be effected differently later throughout life. While his mom tried to avoid the situation and pretend like nothing happened, the dad of the little girl held onto it and was even okay with putting his own child through it to prove a point.
More than just trauma responses or explored throughout this film. We also see how quick people are to assum and accuse, yet also, it's the one you never expected. It displays how false accusations can effect someone and how trusting we can be the the bad guy.
I wish the story would've continued by showing an example of how they could've gotten that little girl help once they knew the truth.
I wanted to throw up ๐
