I understand this is based on a Greek Tragedy and I can appreciate weird and unsettling but this movie lacked so much. Dialogue and acting although intentional was a bore and decisions made by the characters did not make since. Honestly, I want my 2 hours back. Lol. Do not recommend.

STOP LISTENING TO CRITICS AND THEIR REVIEWS. If you’re looking for an action fantasy it was great! Not the best movie ever but great! All the critics have made it very clear that this movie was a no go because it was a male writer and he knows nothing about empowering women. So what?! Brown played a great lead role! Hope people can get passed being so divided and enjoy something for what it is. If you like fantasy/action then you will most likely enjoy this movie.

Worth the watch. Something different and had some originality. Better than a lot of newer horror movies that are just a recycled story.
