This movie brings me back to watching likes it's in the 80s era. Weird for me knowing some native language of the PI. This film was suppose to be around 2023? Thought they'd use actual Filipinos for the bad guys. They sound & look so fake in this movie. They don't sound Visayan. Or speak in Sulu dialect. They also look like they are wearing wigs. FYI, the Philippines has about 180 languages & dialect spoken. Most of us speak English to communicate. Due to tourism I guess. Abu Sayyaf (the bad guys) are known to be the terrorist of the southern part of the PI and I don't really know their agenda. They were most active in the 90s-2000. Now in the 2020s, they have been weakened with very little activities if any. Would have been nice if the movie kind of told us why they are so angry. LOL! I just know that Mindanao (where this movie is taken place) has many resorts. But hey, they landed in the jungle. The Abu Sayyaf are the last creatures I'd be afraid of. I'd first die from a heart attack because of the snakes or whatever animal is going to eat me in the jungle.
