Incredibly poorly made movie with SRK degraded and misguided. Absolute mess of some huge money and talent, with a cheap, old wine in a cheaper, older bottle, but in Hindi.

What an achievement! Great making, great performances and great stunts.

Really don't understand the buzz on this below par movie. It is just 3 hours of breezing by a character's life, with no conviction about ANYTHING at all. For all the 'Darshana' hype the promotions created with the song and teaser, there is absolutely zero substantiation in the movie. It's a tiresome movie that kept me wondering where it was heading to. Vineeth Srinivasan has always made over-patronizing movies, and this one is no different. There are many good movies like this one aspired to be, that have actually catered to cinematic appetite of audience. To mention one - Premam.

One word: Groundbreaking! A few more words: Minnal Murali is the first superhero film in Malayalam, but surely not the first superhero experience to the audience, thanks to the mega comic universes and a handful of other superheroes we all are familiar with. But even with all those pre-superhero experiences - many of them really, really good ones - Minnal Murali is groundbreaking. To see the team pull off a hyperlocal superhero with absolute conviction is a pleasure to see. A genre is beginning here - that's the feel this movie delivers. Greatly performed, meticulously made and superbly executed. MM invokes the right emotions at the right moments. Yes there have been great references to be inspired from, but a good recipe doesn't always mean we get a good dish, right? One has to make it right. So when Kurukkanmoola gets revealed to its superhero in costume, or seeing the heartening entanglement of the equally supervillain Shibu's mind, or when Bruce-Lee Biji crucially kicks open a water outlet in a stunning frame, I was reminded of scenes from past movies, but I also got the extra goosebumps of seeing it in our place, among our people. That's the groundbreaking fact - it's our superhero film!

It was an immersive experience, watching the unseen landscape, the people and their own versions of righteousness. Paced delicately right, filled with provoking conversations and stirring the mind with many things unsaid/un-shown.
