The story is powerful, and the themes of grief and guilt are deep—but the lead performance by Casey Affleck fell flat for me. His expressionless face and lack of emotional depth made it hard to connect with the character’s pain. For such a tragic storyline, I expected more raw emotion and vulnerability. Beautiful setting and strong supporting cast, but overall, it didn’t hit as hard as it could have.
