This is review is written by someone who has never read the book. Also, the movie is only worth to see Italy, from scenes of the characters driving and visiting a museum. The characters have no depth and are superficial. Believe me many of the main characters are recycled from teenage rom-com and coming of age movies. The main character a high school grad who is heading to MIT, best friend a social media fiend who is extroverted, obsessed with her friend getting a boyfriend, and always speaking in slang. The movie was fairly predictable and not worth watching again.

Any Young and Hungry fans out there? Any Emily Osment fans out there? Well, you won’t get what your looking for in this show. The actors were absolutely great, especially Emily Osment. The writing was awful and storyline was predictable! Right after finishing the first episode you can guess how the rest of the stories are going to play out. Also for each episode the problems each character faces are dull and uninteresting. After the first 2 episodes it got a little more interesting but the redundant boring struggles each character faces is cringey. I am a fan of Young and Hungry and other Netflix sitcoms, but if you’re looking for what you saw in those shows this show does not have any good jokes or an exciting story. Overall a very cliche show.

This show was so underrated during its time! Also, it's pretty nice how the principal of the Minnesota boys sticking together no matter what stuck throughout all four season. Even in season 3 when BTR is so famous they have to move-out to Bel Air, Kendall, Logan, Carlos, and James stick together no matter what happens. The last episode was very emotional, after I binge watched it on Hulu. Just the montage of the guys auditioning, moving out to LA, their adventures of finding a girlfriend, meeting fame and the problems with fame, but also the ups and downs of the music industry is, words can't describe it. But the last 2 minutes of the final episode, of them singing those words "Lay it on the line, what you got to lose, it's the only life you got, so you gotta live it big time." This is what they lived by in every episode.

You honestly fall in love with the characters. The comedy is basically the characters making of fun each other, sexual jokes, and some racist humor in each episode. Honestly, most of the situations in each episode is from Gabi jumping to the conclusion or doing what she thinks is right. This begins to be a boring factor where you just want Gabi to stop and don’t understand why everyone forgives her so easily. Also, you realize that no ones does any work, seriously I understand that in movies and television people don’t work because it’s supposed to be entertaining. Honestly, in the show no one works at all. In reality, Gabi probably would have cheated on Josh after marrying him. It just feels what her character would do in real life. That hurts but that’s what seems to be when she would be on and off with Josh Kaminski and anytime she wasn’t with him she was with a new guy. The 5th season ends in another situation where Gabi might have to move away but judging from the preceding seasons. She probably would have stayed and Josh and Gabi would have gotten married. I watched the whole show and many times questioned why I was watching when I knew Gabi would just create another issue and then it would be resolved. It was entertaining, it’s a show to watch when you want to watching something not to fake but something to escape from reality.
